To counterbalance the digital and ephemeral aspects of his graphic production, Benoit ventures into nature where he handpicks stones to materialize, through ancestral gestures, a glimpse of eternity. Stemming from a cognitive disturbance that leads him to perceive evanescent figures within his surroundings, he sets free faces yearning to emerge from the material. By merging his graphic designer’s vision with his fascination for primitive art, he conceives his artistic work as the creation of a graphic identity that would outlive him.
